Blueprint Career Group began in 2005 as BluePrint Resumes, a boutique résumé writing firm built on clarity, creativity, and a deep respect for professional storytelling. From the start, we supported professionals across all levels — including executives up to the C‑suite — helping them communicate their value with confidence and precision. Many of our earliest clients are still with us today, and we honor those roots in everything we do.
Founded by bestselling author Wendy Steele and her husband, Craig, the company blended Wendy’s creative storytelling and operational leadership with Craig’s expertise in website design, network administration, and IT strategy. That combination allowed us to serve a wide range of professionals, including a strong base of IT clients who valued our technical understanding.
As demand grew, our services expanded. We introduced BluePrint Executives to support rising leaders and senior‑level professionals, and Branch Military–Federal Resumes to serve transitioning service members, federal applicants, and military families. Over time, each client group required its own dedicated services, and separate websites were created to keep offerings clear and accessible.

Non‑management professionals are served by referral only, allowing us to dedicate the time and strategic focus required for complex executive and federal transitions.
